The UK is one of the major study destinations for asian students and majority of the Indian and Bangladeshi students. Indian students prefer the UK because of the availability of high quality education and job opportunities. Before the pandemic the United Kingdom has recorded approximately 605,000 international students, thus the country is slowly reaching its goal of 700,000 students by 2030. Other countries like China, Nigeria and Korean students consider the UK as one of the best countries to pursue their higher education.

According to official statistics more than 400,000 students have enrolled in undergraduate courses in British universities. Brexit was supposed to make high profile researchers out of Britain but fortunately that did not occur. Most of the researchers decided to stay in the UK with their respective universities debunking baseless theories of Remoaners.

Lot of universities get featured on the list of Top universities in the USA. UK aggressively gave themselves the target of 600,000 students by 2030 and as per the report they have achieved the target 10 early. The numbers of foreign students increased rapidly in the country and reached 600,000 in no time.In 2022 students across the world are choosing Britain as their study destination, many are choosing the USA, Canada and other countries but the UK is on top of the wishlist. According to a report, approximately 27% of the foreign students are Indian students  in 2020-21.

The meeting of the target ahead of schedule is a testimonial of the fact that the educational sectors have played an important role in welcoming the students to Britain. Students from France, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Spain have increased. India, China and Nigeria form the top three countries among non-European nations regarding their student strength in Britain.
