This article will try to examine different kinds of visas for the students who are planning to go to the USA for their  higher education. This article will also discuss the F1 student visa  which is applicable to those students who are planning to go to the USA for their bachelor's or master's. 


Different types of student visa are listed below:

1.F1 student visa : Students who are willing to apply to USA University and  if the program  requires more than 18 hours per week need an F1  visa for them. Inter students applying for the F1 visa can also go for undergraduate program Masters or even MBA.  In this scenario the spouse or a family member who are going to accompany the candidate will have permission to travel with the help of F2 Visa.  F2  doesn't permit family members or spouses to work in the USA. 
2.J1 Visa: J1 visa is the exchange Visa of the USA. If a student or lecturer wants to visit the USA for academic purposes they generally use a J1 visa. This visa is actually meant for short term duration. This visa can also be used for vocational training and educational purposes  for which the time duration is not more than 10 months. The G2 visa is used in case the spouse or the family member one to accompany the candidate. 
3.The M1 visa: This visa is used for those students who are willing to go to the USA  for technical schools and vocational training purposes only. You may think that  F1 visa  and M1 visa are similar in nature. The major difference among this visa is the duration of stay. 


Work permit for the  student visa 

For every student USA is a first world country where the expenses can be a little bit higher than their own country. Students  cannot accept any kind of job offer off campus while studying in the USA. They are generally not allowed to work for more than 20 hours per week. Students are actually allowed to work for any kind of farm that provides services to the University itself success Book Store or account service.

2.A copy of DS-160  application form 
3.Interview appointment letter 
4.Form I-20 sent by the college
5.Visa payment receipt

The primary cost of visa 

The primary cost of a visa is subject to change and is very different from one visa to another.  For a F1 visa the cost is $350, for the J1 Visa the cost is $220,  and for an M1 visa the cost is $350.
