Cranfield University
Cranfield University was established in 1946 and its name was College of Aeronautics. The major growth and development started in the 1950s and 1960s. Institute was focusing on the research and development and design of aircraft. Slowly and steadily the university started focusing on the management and manufacturing of aircraft equipment and changed its name from College of Aeronautics to Cranfield University. In the following years the university received partnership opportunities from the Defence Academy,UK. Currently the university has two campuses one in Cranfield and the other in Shrivenham. The academic schools under the university are Cranfield Defence and Security, School of Aerospace, Transport Systems, Manufacturing, School of Water, Energy, and Environment, and School of Management. 1) IELTS: 6.5 overall and 5.5 in all skill components.
2) TOEFL: 92 total and minimum skill component scores of 18 reading, 17 listening, 20 speaking and 17 writing.
3) LanguageCert: High Pass overall and 33 in all skill components.
4) Pearson PTE: 65 overall and 59 in all skill components.

Cranfield University has the same minimum entry requirements for most of our taught and research programmes.
Minimum entry requirements:
- 1) A UK first or second class honours degree in a relevant subject area; or
- 2) An equivalent international qualification (find out whether your qualification meets our requirements by visiting our International Student page); or
- 3) Relevant work experience in combination with a degree below second class honours.
If you do not meet our formal entry requirements, but still feel you can demonstrate the ability to complete the course successfully, you may still be accepted onto a course. Each application will be considered on its merits. You can find grade equivalents for your country on the Cranfield University's country-specific entry requirements page.

If you are an international student you may need to provide evidence of your English language proficiency when you receive an offer to study with us.
Accommodation
Once you get an offer for a one full-time course at the Cranfield campus, you will be eligible to apply for accommodation. The course offer will come with your official student (EVE) portal login id and password. You might see high demand for the oncampus accommodation. The whole process is first come first serve basis, so it is highly recommended to apply as soon as possible after receiving your EVE login information in order to secure.
